Philanthropic Focus

Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Food insecurity affects every race, age and community, including the communities where we are placed. That is why we want to be a part of the solution. Partnering with national and local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities. We are committed to contributing to the world’s work as our Purpose calls us to do. As a sisterhood, we work together to make a greater impact.

Our impact is enhanced through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. They provide fighting hunger grants to various organizations that are doing their part in their local community to fight hunger. Campus Involvement

At UNLV, we actively collaborate with various organizations dedicated to fighting hunger and providing support to underprivileged students. This includes partnerships with UNLV programs and initiatives like the UNLV Food Pantry, UNLV Garden, UNLV Farmers Market, and other efforts to combat food insecurity. Through these connections we collect and donate food, hygiene products, and other essentials to students in need. Beyond campus, we extend our efforts to the Las Vegas community. Our chapter works with organizations such as the Three Square Food Bank and other vital local resources to address hunger and food insecurity in Southern Nevada. We also help organizations that other chapters on campus fundraise for, such as the Alzheimer’s Association, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Kindness Foundation, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Whether on campus or in our broader Las Vegas community, the sisters of Delta Omicron are dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy of service, kindness, and meaningful impact. Together we work to make a difference one step at a time.
